Miss B was sexually abused as a teenager which left her with psychological injuries. The abuse was reported to the police a few years later which resulted in the offender being sentenced to prison.

A claim was made outside of the two year time limit. We obtained documentation to support the fact that our client was unable to make a claim any earlier and the CICA agreed to waive the time limit and our client received the compensation she was entitled to.
